| Hi, this is the Integrierte Gesamtschule Schulmodell Rockenhausen (IGSMR) in
Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. We’re located in the city of Rockenhausen, close to the
mighty Donnersberg mountain, an ideal area for all those who like fresh country air, bike
tours and long walks. In September 2000 we started with grade 11. In spring
2003 the first students graduated (A levels) with class 13. The
current enrollment is 946 students (grade 5 to 13); the teaching staff
comprises 76 teachers.
The IG Schulmodell
Rockenhausen, a secondary school, was opened in 1994 and started out with five
classes - like the name says as a model. In the meantime we are an official Gesamtschule which corresponds to a high
school respectively comprehensive school. With a special profile of course, i.e. a strong
accent on immediate professional careers of our students
